Cotton Color

To determine the cotton color there are two parameters. These are:

1. Degree of reflectance (Rd)

2. Yellowness (+b).

To show the brightness of the sample is the main characteristics of degree of reflectance. And the yellowness gives the degree of cotton pigmentation. The each color code is represents by the cotton colorimeter diagram. By climate conditions the color of fibers are affected and also impacts of insects and fungi. Recognized group of color are five types. These are:

a.     White

b.     Gray.

c.      Spotted.

d.     Tinged.

e.      Yellow stained.
