Picking means inserting a weft thread across the warp through during weaving. Picking is the second primary motion in weaving.
Over Pick: When picking arm position is situated above the shuttle box then it is called over pick.
Under Pick: When picking arm position is situated under the shuttle box then it is called under pick.
